MAKE IT A GREAT EVENT!

Do you enjoy giving back to your community?  Want to go behind the scenes of the FIRE IT UP 5K, BBQ COOK OFF & CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT and help produce this year’s most amazing event?  We are looking for energetic individuals to provide great customer service to our Fire It Up! participants.

Volunteers will receive volunteer shirts and be recognized on our event page!

Let’s Get Started!

WHAT DO VOLUNTEERS DO?

* Race Packet Stuffing – Gather and organize all promotional materials, shirts, bibs, pins and stuff race bags according to race roster.

* Registration and Packet Pick Up – Assist with race registrations and distribute race packets to pre-registered participants.

* BBQ Cook Off & Cornhole Team Check In – Assist with checking in Cook Off and Cornhole Teams.

* Course Set Up and Take Down – Mark the course with arrows, signs, set up tables, decorate, take down and clean up.

* Start Line and Finish Line – Assist in hanging signs and banners, direct participants to refreshment table.

* Course Route Helpers – Keep race participants on course, cheer for all runners/walkers, clean up any trash.

* Water and Refreshment Stations – Set up water and refreshments and hand out to runners, clean up any trash.

* Cook Off – Assist with any bbq cook off duties.

* Prizes and Awards – Assist with handing out prizes and awards.

* Photography – Take photos of event from start to finish.

* Videography – Take video of event from start to finish.

* Merchandise – Sell Slayin’ Gray and Fire It Up gear.
