SLAYIN' GRAY 5K

Come out and be a part of this important event. We will run/walk together to raise funds for ground-breaking research and to increase awareness for Glioblastoma Multiforme, the most malignant form of brain cancer.  Every step taken and every dollar raised brings us closer to the ultimate finish line – A CURE!

THE CHALLENGE

Nine out of ten will lose their battle with Glioblastoma within 5 years.  The survival rate has not changed in
 30 years!

WHY SLAYIN' GRAY 5K?

Glioblastoma Multiforme is the most malignant type of brain cancer.  It affects approximately 12,000 people in the US per year.  As of today, the median survival rate is 12-15 months with current treatment options.  All race proceeds will be donated to the GBM Moon Shot program at MD Anderson.

RACE DETAILS

The course route will start and finish at the south end of Cole Park across the street from First Baptist Church.  Runners/Walkers will run along Ocean Drive and follow the sidewalk down in front of Marina Del Sol and continue along the water past Cole Park Pier to the turn around point.  Runners/Walkers will follow the same route back .
